A member of the ¹û¶³´«Ã½â€™s staff for eight years and counting, Amanda Henderson has spent the past five years within the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns Department of ¹û¶³´«Ã½.

In her present role, she serves as the Administrative Assistant for the Director of ¹û¶³´«Ã½, Deputy Directors of ¹û¶³´«Ã½, RCAF and Compliance.

Henderson manages the day-to-day operations of the Director of ¹û¶³´«Ã½ office and also provides advanced level administrative support to the Executive Leadership Team.

A May 2013 graduate of the University with a degree in business management, Henderson’s service to her alma mater began as a student worker in the Registrar’s Office where she was mentored by Dr. Dewayne Bowie. Upon graduation, she was offered an administrative position with the Registrar’s Office, which started her present tenure in the University’s community.

Henderson transitioned to the Department of ¹û¶³´«Ã½ in July 2015 working under the Director of ¹û¶³´«Ã½ and Sr. Associate Director of ¹û¶³´«Ã½ before being elevated to her current role.

The ¹û¶³´«Ã½ native currently resides in Maurice, La., with her husband, Christopher Henderson, and children, Cole and Aubrey Henderson.
