The Gibson/White Trio (trumpet, bassoon, and piano) will give a recital at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, in the Choral Room (158) in Angelle Hall on the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ ¹û¶³´«Ã½ campus.
Admission is free. The concert is sponsored by the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Student Government, Lyceum Committee and the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Concert Series.
Marilynn Gibson, trumpet; David Gibson, bassoon; and Corlie White, piano are all faculty members of the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Monroe music department. They are nationally acclaimed as artists and teachers. While at ¹û¶³´«Ã½ ¹û¶³´«Ã½, the trio will perform a public recital, give master classes, and give lessons to interested music students.
