Leadership Transition in Louisiana ¹û¶³´«Ã½

Dear faculty and staff,

I want to share an important leadership update regarding Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns ¹û¶³´«Ã½.

Dr. Bryan Maggard, vice president for Intercollegiate ¹û¶³´«Ã½, has accepted a position at the University of Missouri after nine years of dedicated service to our University. During his tenure, Louisiana ¹û¶³´«Ã½ reached remarkable milestones, and our student-athletes achieved success in competition and in the classroom.

In the coming months, we will recruit our next athletics leader – an executive who will join our leadership team and the athletics staff in strengthening Louisiana ¹û¶³´«Ã½, expanding financial support and enhancing the experience and success of our student-athletes.

Trey Frazier, deputy athletics director and executive director of the Ragin’ Cajuns Athletic Foundation, will serve as interim athletics director. He brings a proven record of strengthening relationships with our fans, supporters and community, and that experience will serve Louisiana ¹û¶³´«Ã½ well during this transition.

Please join me in congratulating Bryan on this well-deserved opportunity and thanking him for his service to our University and the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.
