Commencement is an academic event and all candidates are required to wear the University-approved cap and gown (academic regalia). You will not be permitted to participate in the Commencement ceremonies without the proper University-approved attire.

Bachelor & Master Candidates
Purchase and pick-up with The Ragin' Cajun Store at Grad Expo. This will help ensure you select the proper size & are dressed appropriately on graduation day.

- Cap Only = $11.98 + tax
- Tassel Only = $8.98 + tax
- Master Cap/Gown/Hood/Tassel = $127.98 + tax
- Hood Only = $47.98 + tax

- Bachelor Cap/Gown/Tassel = $74.98 + tax
- Acceptable forms of payment include credit/debit.

- After Grad Expo AND the online ordering period, the only option to purchase and pick up your cap & gown is to visit The Ragin' Cajun Store by Thursday, May 13.
- If you fail to get a cap & gown, you will not be allowed to walk at Commencement.

Personalized Announcements (Vendor: Balfour & Co)
- Announce your academic achievement with official announcements. Purchase options include convenient packages and individual product packages.
- Delivery time is approximately 2-3 weeks, so order as soon as possible to get them in time to mail to friends and family.
Balfour representatives will be available at Grad Expo to assist and answer any questions.
- Announcements must be paid for at time of order with credit/debit. No cash will be accepted.
If you are unable to attend Grad Expo or did not order at that time, you may order announcements online by clicking .
- Select Announcements, then select the correct time frame under Ceremony Month.

Official Louisiana Ring (Vendor: Balfour & Co)
Orders for an official Louisiana Ring can be placed at Grad Expo and Balfour representatives will be available to assist.
If you are unable to attend Grad Expo or did not order at that time, you may order rings online by clicking .
- Select the Traditional or University Collection to view options and begin your order process.
Please note the following deadlines for ordering your ring.
- September 25
- This will ensure you are able to receive your ring at the Ring Ceremony.
- You are still allowed to order, but if ordered after September 25, they will not arrive on time for the ceremony as it takes approximately 6-8 weeks.
Ring Ceremony will be held by our Alumni Affairs Office and will be Saturday, December 5. More information will be sent to those students who order a ring at a later date.
- If you do not attend the ceremony, your ring can be picked up at the Alumni Center.
- To participate in the ceremony, the ring must be ordered through Balfour.
