MyCourseID is a secure proctoring platform that monitors online exams using artificial intelligence (AI), identity verification, and secure browser controls.

MyCourseID uses automated proctoring, so students do not have to schedule appointments to take exams. They can take their exams 24 hours a day, 7 days a week within the window established by the instructor. Students are responsible for all proctoring fees. Faculty should notify students of any additional costs at the beginning of the semester.

MyCourseID features:

• ID verification, face detection, and full webcam/screen recording to ensure every test taker is who they say they are.
• Secure browser controls to lock-down browser components while still allowing tools like Excel, Word, CAD, and other software that may be used during exams.

Yuja Panorama is an accessibility tool that integrates directly with Moodle to identify, rate, and improve the accessibility of course content. It provides real-time accessibility indicators, alternative formats for students, and automated reports that help instructors resolve issues efficiently. Panorama supports continuous course improvement by surfacing actionable feedback and offering built-in remediation tools.

Adaptive course design using RealizeIt is a new way to present personalized, customizable courses that provide students with a fundamentally different experience than they would have in standard online or hybrid courses. 

The RealizeIt platform houses all the learning materials, activities, and formative assessments for specific learning units. As students progress through the course, the platform automatically directs them to the most appropriate content for their current level of understanding. Some students will be directed to proceed to the next lesson or choice of lessons, while others will be guided towards remediation of previous material. The platform is constantly learning about each student’s behavior and performance and providing guidance to help them to attain the learning goals of the course.

Realizeit integrates into the Moodle gradebook and allows for direct linking of coursework with single sign-on for the students, who can purchase an access code from the ¹û¶³´«Ã½ ¹û¶³´«Ã½ Bookstore. 

Eligible faculty may be able to receive stipends through departmental Distance Learning Funds for improving an online course and/or transitioning to the use of OER.

If you are interested in using RealizeIt for your course, follow the following process:

Step 1. Assess whether your course is a good fit. 

Courses that require students to build a knowledge base or demonstrate a skill that can be measured by objective means are very good candidates for adaptive courseware. 

Characteristics include: 

• Current or planned use of open educational resources (OER).
• Quantitative assessments.

Courses that rely heavily on subjective assignments, such as forums, research projects, papers, portfolios, etc. are not a good fit as they miss out on the redirection and remediation aspects of RealizeIt.

Step 2. Apply.

Turnitin is an online tool that allows faculty to provide detailed feedback on written assignments with the added benefit of ensuring that students are submitting original and properly cited work. 

Choose Turnitin for:

• Similarity/Originality report for plagiarism detection

Zoom Webinars are used for one-to-many communication. Typically, webinars have one or more panelists and view-only attendees. Scheduling a Zoom Webinar

Accessing Your Zoom Pro License

All ¹û¶³´«Ã½ ¹û¶³´«Ã½ faculty and staff have access to a Zoom Pro license. How you log in to Zoom depends on your role. 

Connecting through Moodle (for Faculty)

Connecting through Moodle using the Zoom-Moodle Integration is the preferred method for faculty to schedule and host meetings. There are several advantages to this method, including easy authentication of student participants, tracking meeting attendance, and easy sharing of recorded meetings.

Access your Zoom Pro license using your ¹û¶³´«Ã½ID and University password at to schedule and host your Zoom meetings.

If you are signing into your Zoom license directly from the Zoom app on your device, you'll need to:

1. Click the "Sign In with SSO" button on the login screen.
2. Enter "ullafayette" in the Company Domain field and click "Continue."
3. Enter your normal University credentials.
